Few names are more legendary in the world of country and rock ’n’ roll stagewear than Nudie Cohn, the visionary Texas tailor behind Nudie’s Rodeo Tailors. From the 1940s onward, Nudie transformed western wear into dazzling works of art, adorning stars like Elvis Presley, and Gram Parsons in rhinestones, embroidery, and bold color. Today, Nudie’s creations remain some of the most coveted garments in music history. Shown here are suits from the collection of Nicky Panicci, who holds the largest privately owned archive of Nudie’s Rodeo Tailors suits and accessories.
